I received my BS in Chemistry and BA in History from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and my PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2020.
About me I grew up on the water and have always enjoyed being outside and exploring nature.  Through higher education, I came to love scientific widgets, specifically building them and making them perform in new ways to explore the chemical diversity of the natural world.  My lab maintains a suite of instruments to gain physical insights into gas-phase chemistry, measure molecular distributions in the environment, and monitor water…
Kelly Hines is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia. Kelly graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a B.S. in Chemistry. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Vanderbilt University with John A. McLean, where she used ion mobility-mass spectrometry (IM-MS) to identify of metabolite, lipid, and peptide signatures of disease from complex biological samples. After receiving her Ph.D. in…
Work in the Frossard Lab at UGA is focused on understanding the composition and properties of surfactants in atmospheric aerosol particles and how these surfactants influence the hygroscopic properties of aerosol particles. Amanda joined the faculty at UGA as an assistant professor in Chemistry in Fall 2017. She received a BS in Chemistry from UC Berkeley in 2008, where she worked as an undergraduate researcher with Allen Goldstein. Amanda…
