Date & Time: Aug 23 2024 | 11:30am - 12:30pm Location: iSTEM Building 2, Room 1218 Raman Lasers are an interesting option for Resonance Ion spectroscopy. They rely on a Raman transition which is not limited by bound transition. This work demonstrates Raman lasers ability to be used for high resolution spectroscopy to observe atomic transitions. Type of Event: Physical Seminar Research Areas: Physical Chemistry Todd Eliason Department: Graduate Student, Department of Chemistry University of Georgia Learn more about the speaker https://chem.uga.edu/directory/people/todd-eliason
