Graduate Research Assistant Biography Xu Yang is an analytical chemist and doctoral researcher specialized in the intricate world of glycoscience. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Georgia’s renowned Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC), Xu focuses on bridging the gap between computational prediction and benchtop experimentation. Her research is defined by a unique interest in Science4AI, utilizing machine learning and advanced mass spectrometry to decode challenging analytes like glycoproteins and polysaccharides. In her spare time, Xu enjoys slow cruise on backroads in her 2011 Mazda Miata with the top down.
